MAHARANA PRATAP, BATTLE OF HALDIGHATI, BATTLE OF KUMBHALGARH, BATTLE OF DIVAR : -
MAHARANA PRATAP (1572 - 1597 ) : -
Born on May 9, 1540, Maharana Pratap died in 1572 AD. I was placed on the throne in Gogunda. Pratap's coronation ceremony was held at Kumbhalgarh.
Rana Pratap was famous among the tribals by the name of Kika (small child).
To persuade Maharana Pratap to accept submission, Akbar first in 1572 AD. Sent Jalal Khan as an ambassador, then sent Mansingh, Bhagwant Das and Todarmal (at last) respectively but Maharana Pratap was not ready to accept submission.
Akbar sent a huge army under the leadership of Mansingh on April 2, 1576 to subdue Rana Pratap.

DIVER KA YUDHA/BATTLE OF DIVAR ( 1582 ) : -
Divar, an important post on the Ajmer-Mewar route, was occupied by the Mughal army under the leadership of Sultan Khan. On this, under the leadership of Pratap, the Mewari Sardars raided and captured it by defeating Sultan Khan.
In this war, Maharana's son Amar Singh showed amazing courage. Colonel Tod has called the battle of Divar as the marathon of Mewar. Rana Pratap drove out Luna Rathor from Chavand and made Chavand his capital and built the temple of Chamund (Chavanda) Mataji here.
Maharana Pratap singh died in Chavand on January 19, 1597. Pratap was cremated at a place named Bandoli near Chavand, where there is a grand chhatri of Maharana Pratap built on eight pillars.
