MAHARANA AMAR SINGH I, MAHARANA KARAN SINGH : -
MAHARANA AMAR SINGH PARTHAM ( I ) (1597 - 1620 ) : -
After the death of Maharana Pratap, on January 19, 1597, Maharana Amar Singh I was coronated in Chavand.
Against Amar Singh in 1599 AD. Akbar sent Prince Salim (Jahangir) to The relaxed Salim showed no interest. Therefore, Akbar could not subjugate Mewar during his lifetime.
After becoming the emperor, Jahangir reached Ajmer with the intention of subduing Mewar and sent Prince Khurram on the Mewar campaign.
Amar Singh made a treaty with Khurram on 5 February 1615 against his will due to the dilapidated condition of Mewar and on the insistence of Sardars and Rajkumar Karan Singh.
On February 5, 1615, Maharana Amarsingh went to meet Prince Khurram at the police station of Gogunde along with his two brothers Sahasmall and Kalyan and three bachelors Bhimsingh, Surajmal and Baghsingh.
According to the treaty between both the parties, it was decided that the Maharana would never attend the emperor's court, instead his eldest son would go to the royal court.
Maharana will keep 1000 riders in the royal army. Chittor fort will not be repaired. Thus the independence of Mewar came to an end about 1050 years after Guhil.
On February 19, 1615, along with Kunwar Karan Singh, Prince Khurram Dalbal appeared in the emperor's court.
Maharana Amar Singh died in Udaipur on January 26, 1620.
Maharana's funeral took place near Gangodbhava in Ahar.
The first umbrella among the Mahasatis of Ahar is that of Maharana Aram Singh.
MAHARANA KARAN SINGH (1620 - 1628 ) : -
The coronation of Maharana Karan Singh took place on January 26, 1620.
Prince Khurram (Shah Jahan) rebelled against Emperor Jahangir and took refuge at Maharana Karan Singh's place. Karan Singh. He kept him for a few days at Dilwara Jain Temple (Abu) and then at Jagmandir Niwas (Palace situated on Lake Pichola).
