MAHARANA UDAY SINGH, MAHARANA RATAN SINGH, MAHARANA VIKRAMADITYA : -
MAHARANA UDAY SINGH (1540 - 1572 ) : -
1537 AD In 1560, the chieftains of Mewar declared Maharana Uday Singh as Maharana by coronation in Kumbhalgarh fort.
Uday Singh gathered an army and raided Chittor, in which Banveer was killed and Uday Singh got control over Chittor. In the reign of Uday Singh, on October 23, 1567 AD.
After the attack on Chittor by Mughal Emperor Akbar, Uday Singh, Rathor Jaimal and Rawat Patta were appointed as army chiefs and went to the forest along with some chieftains.
Jaimal and Patta sacrificed their lives in the war with the Mughal army and the heroines did Jauhar for their pride. This is called the third Saka (1567 AD) of Chittor.
Impressed by the bravery of Jaimal and Patta, Akbar made stone statues of them mounted on elephants and installed them at the gate of Agra Fort, which are currently located at the gate of Junagarh Fort of Bikaner.
Jaimal Rathor was the ruler of Merta.
February 28, 1572 AD. Maharana Udai Singh died in Gogunda where his mausoleum was built.
MAHARANA RATAN SINGH (1528 - 1531 ) : -
After the death of Maharana Sanga, Maharana Ratan Singh ascended the throne of Chittor on February 5, 1528, but he died in Bundi in 1531.
After which his younger brother Vikramaditya became the ruler of Mewar.
MAHARANA VIKRAMADITYA (1531 - 1536 ) : -
In the reign of Vikramaditya in 1533 AD. I had to watch Gujarat Sultan. Bahadur Shah attacked Chittor, but returned after a settlement.
But when Bahadur Shah attacked again, Rani Karmavati sent Rakhi to Humayun for help.
Rani Karmavati sent Vikramaditya and Uday Singh to Bundi and made them the representatives of Rawat Maharana of Devalia.
In the war against Bahadur Shah, the warriors wore saffron and under the leadership of Hadi Rani, the heroines performed Jauhar. This is called 'Second Saka of Chittor' (1534 AD).
Humayun, who arrived after receiving the message of Queen Karmvati, immediately attacked Bahadur Shah and chased him away from Chittor and made Vikramaditya the ruler again.
1536 AD In 1566, the maid's son Banveer killed Vikramaditya. Banveer wanted to kill Uday Singh, but Pannadhay saved Uday Singh's life by sacrificing his son Chandan and took him safely to Kumbhalner's fort 'Asha Devpura'.
